Last night, I watched a newscast on NBC that stated that in the great State of California (where I currently reside) that YES, any and all gambling style “pools” are in fact illegal, and whats more, they are a FELONY… OUCH.

Everyone is doing it these days… the NCAA college basketball brackets are flying around every office in the country…
First off, are these legal ? probably no. But, I am not sure.
Second, what about all the lost productivity here… as all these guys are glued to their internet screen or cell phone getting updated scores to see how they are doing in the NCAA college basketball brackets pool…
I have never actually participated in one… but, they do look fun.
